General question about timeline for grads, as opposed to 3Ls: is there a pattern as to when NY judges look at grad resumes? I know some have hired for '10, but of the rest, is it typical to read grad resumes during July-August? Or do they just sit in a pile til September?
if they are looking for grads, they typically (but uniformly) hire in July/August (if not earlier). If you're a grad, do everything you can to apply for the 3L rush.
how long can one expect to be called for an interview after submitting an application (assuming that one will be selected from the pile anyway)? Has anyone received an interview call right away, after a weeks, or months after applying?
I am looking for a Clerkship in New York State. I was accepted into the Law Office Study Program. It is 520.4 under The New York Court of Appeals. It is an old but currently still in effect statute and I am looking for a Clerkship in New York. Any suggestions? I would need about 2 years to complete the program.
Judge Ross (EDNY) is done.
