Any advice for letters of recommendations for those of us who have been in private practice for awhile? I was going to use a combination of private practice recommendations and a law professor.
ReplyDeleteMany judges want to see a professional recommendation. I used a two professors and a partner for whom I've worked, but I can't say yet whether or not the strategy was successful.
ReplyDeleteI only used private practice recommendations as the ones from law school seemed completely inappropriate to me. I spoke with the clerk for one of the judges to ask, and her advice was that they would rather have current references. We'll see.
